School-funded support and Pupil Premium access route
Some families may need psychological assessment or psychological advocacy but cannot self-fund. NavigateSEND can accept referrals directly from schools where the school wishes to commission assessment, consultation or planning support for a pupil. Standard school referrals are charged at the published rate. Where the school confirms that the work is funded from Pupil Premium and is linked to identification, planning or provision for a disadvantaged pupil, NavigateSEND can offer a 50% discounted rate on eligible psychological advocacy and planning work.
This is a school-commissioned route. Pupil Premium should not be presented as a personal budget or direct family subsidy. The school remains responsible for deciding whether the referral is an appropriate use of its Pupil Premium strategy and for keeping records of the rationale, intended outcomes and impact.

FAQ's
Are fees inclusive of VAT?
Yes. Navigate SEND's core services are psychology-led and fall within the healthcare exemption, meaning they are not subject to VAT.
Do you offer payment plans?
Not as a standard option for individual clients at present, though this is something we are looking into. Payment plans are available to schools and organisations on a case by case basis.
Can I get help covering the cost of an assessment?
Possibly. If your child is eligible for Free School Meals or Pupil Premium funding, it may be worth speaking to the school about whether they would be willing to fund an assessment through that route. Our school-funded and Pupil Premium access route is explained in the pricing section above.
Why are guide prices given rather than fixed fees?
The prices shown are a base for the core service. Cases often involve additional aspects of a child or young person's needs that emerge during the work, and any additional scope is agreed and costed separately before proceeding.
What does the free 15-minute consultation cover?
It is a focused discussion to understand your situation and identify the clearest route forward — so you know what kind of support is most appropriate before committing to any paid work.
